Club Universidad de Chile To Launch Fan Token On Socios.com

SANTIAGO, 30th November 2020: Universidad de Chile, in partnership with Chiliz (Binance: $CHZ) have announced that they will launch the $UCH Fan Token on blockchain-based fan voting and rewards app Socios.com.

Universidad de Chile are one of the most successful football clubs in Chile and South America, with 18 league title wins, six of which have come in the last 10 years. The club also went undefeated to win the Copa Sudamericana in 2011 and have reached the semi-finals of the Copa Libertadores on four separate occasions, most recently in 2012.

$UCH Fan Tokens will give owners many benefits, including the right to vote in Universidad de Chile polls. Fan Token owners can also connect with other fans in Socios Chat, look forward to VIP rewards, compete in leaderboards to be crowned the number one fan in their region/country and enjoy exclusive club and sponsor promotions.

The maximum supply of $UCH Fan Tokens will be 5 million with a limited number to be made available at a fixed price of $1.25in an initial flash sale to take place in the coming months. The date of the sale will be revealed soon. $UCH Fan Tokens will be available after the flash sale, but the price will then be determined by demand.

Universidad de Chile will become the first Chilean club to join the Socios.com platform and the second South American club. Argentinian club CA Independiente launched their Fan Token last August.

Additional Socios.com partners include FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, AS Roma, Apollon Limassol, İstanbul Başakşehir, BSC Young Boys, Sint-Truidense V.V, and esports organisations, NAVI, Team Heretics, Team Alliance and OG. Socios.com also has a global fan engagement partnership with UFC, while the Professional Fighters League (PFL) will launch a Fan Token early next year. Additional partnership announcements are expected before the end of the year.
