Fans Are Using $JUV Fan Tokens On Fan Voting And Rewards App Socios.Com To Select An Innovative New Design For The First Team Bus

TURIN, July 22nd 2020: Juventus are asking fans to choose between three eye-catching designs for their first team bus on fan voting & rewards app Socios.com

The poll is already open, with supporters using $JUV Fan Tokens to take part. The winning design is set to be revealed when the poll ends on Tuesday July 28th and the new design will be used for the 20/21 season.

Juventus fans can use $JUV Fan Tokens to vote in club polls and to be in with the chance of winning digital and real-life rewards.  $JUV Fan Token holders have taken part in numerous polls since Juventus became the first club in the world to launch on Socios.com in late 2019.

Fans have voted on wide-ranging topics,  including choosing Blur’s Song 2 as the goal celebration song to be played every time a home goal is scored at the Allianz Stadium and selecting a fan-designed ‘J’ icon to be transformed into a piece of official club merchandise and sold worldwide.

Fan Token holders have also enjoyed a host of rewards linked to the club. Recently $JUV Fan Token holders have appeared, via video upload, on the LED panels surrounding the pitch for  home games.  Real-life experiences, such as meeting players and watching games as a VIP at the Allianz Stadium will be re-activated when fans are able to return to the stadium.

A Leaderboard feature, where fans will receive rewards points based on how they interact with Juventus through the app, will be launched in the near future, allowing fans to compete to become the number 1 fan in their country.  A Chat feature and Games will also be launched on Socios.com in the coming months.

Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO and founder of Chiliz and Socios.com said:  “Ever since Juventus launched the groundbreaking ‘J’ logo in 2017, the club has been synonymous with innovation in brand design.

“The first team bus – such a highly visible part of the matchday experience –  is the ultimate canvas to show off the club’s virtuoso image. I think it’s great that Juventus are putting faith in their fans to choose a new design that will further strengthen their iconic and instantly recognisable global brand.”

About Chiliz

Chiliz ($CHZ) is a digital currency for sports and entertainment platforms. It fuels the world’s first scalable, tokenized voting platform, Socios.com where fans can buy, trade and execute voting rights in their favorite sports teams. The Chiliz project has raised $66 million from some of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges and leading crypto funds in Asia, including Binance, OK Blockchain Capital, and Ceyuan Ventures. Chiliz is owned by Malta-based Mediarex Group, a global sports and entertainment organisation, which was founded in 2012. In January 2020, Chiliz announced the launch of Chiliz.net, a first-of-its-kind mobile and desktop crypto exchange for sports and entertainment assets.

About Socios.com

Socios.com helps sport entities achieve digital transformation through blockchain technology. Socios.com is powered by the Chiliz token ($CHZ), both an ERC20 utility token on the Ethereum blockchain and BEP-2 token on Binance Chain. Fan Tokens are specific to a team or a club, and are a finite, digital asset that provides access to an encrypted, immutable ledger of voting and membership rights ownership. The tokenized fan-voting platform uses Fan Tokens, which operate on a separate permissioned side chain. The Fan Tokens are limited in number, and are fungible, meaning their ownership can be traded, and their price is driven by the market. The venture was inspired by the fan-led management frameworks or ‘socios’ of some major football clubs. Dubbed ‘Socios 2.0’, the platform simply represents the digitisation of this model of management.
