Juventus Supporters Will Be The First Fans In The World To Take Part In The Club Decision-Making Process Using Blockchain

MALTA, 3rd December 2019: Chiliz (Binance.com: $CHZ) confirms the date for the world’s first Fan Token Offering (FTO®™) for Juventus. From today, Juventus fans all over the world will be able to buy Juventus Fan Tokens on Socios.com, the world’s first fan voting and rewards mobile app. A significant number of the total 20,000,000 supply of $JUV (Juventus Fan Tokens) has already been made available for purchase during the FTO®. Fan Tokens will be sold on a first come, first served basis exclusively on Socios.com.

For the first time ever, fans can also use their Fan Tokens to vote on a club decision. Using blockchain technology, the Serie A champions are seeking the input of their fans by asking them to vote for a new goal celebration song. For the past 8 years, every goal scored by Juventus at the Allianz Stadium has been celebrated to the tune of ‘Chelsea Dagger’. The upbeat hit by The Fratellis has become synonymous with the club, but now, with the help of Socios.com, it’s time to change.

The Italian giants will release a video across their channels to announce the launch and the first poll to be held on Socios.com. Fans can choose from the following shortlist of four songs:

Voting starts today, but only those in possession of Juventus Fan Tokens are eligible to vote. The launch price for Juventus Fan Tokens will be around €2 (this price will fluctuate depending on the exchange rate of Chiliz $CHZ, the digital currency of Socios.com). A limited number of Fan Tokens are available for free via the app’s Augmented Reality feature, Token Hunt.

The winning song will be revealed when Juventus score their first goal at the Allianz Stadium in 2020. This will be the first of many polls to come this season and every season thereafter.

Fan Tokens give supporters the opportunity to take part in the club decision-making process by voting in polls and surveys (binding & non-binding). Fans will also receive reward points for engaging with their club and other fans through the platform, which can be exchanged for exclusive merchandise and unique experiences.
