Meet The Team: Karen, Head Of Product

Here at, our team are working hard to make sure we deliver a seamless experience for football fans, from the moment you download the app to hunting for free Fan Tokens and also winning once-in-a-lifetime prizes. 

We caught up with Karen, our Head of Product to see what fans’ can expect. 


What can fans expect in the first version of the app? 

The first version of the app will introduce users to Token Hunt, our augmented reality feature which allows users to hunt tokens of their favourite team in various locations and earn these for free! We will also provide users with the ability to redeem any vouchers they have received from our various marketing initiatives.

What’s the most exciting feature of the app? 

Speaking from the sports fan perspective, the fact that the Socios app is giving me the opportunity to have a say in certain decisions that will impact my favourite team is a dream come true for any fan. I can’t wait to have fans using this!

So what can a fan actually do on the app? 

As we roll out the product, users will be able to purchase or transfer Chiliz (CHZ) to the app, use Chiliz (CHZ) to purchase Fan Tokens from their favourite teams and also vote in relevant polls to influence team decisions, among other things. Users will also be able to participate in available hunts to obtain tokens for free!

What can we expect in the future? 

We are planning on rewarding fans as they interact with the app, providing them with loyalty points that can be redeemed for great prizes and experiences related to your favourite team and show their influencer status.

How can you get the app? 

The app will be available for download from both the Apple Store and Google PlayStore. We can’t wait to make this available and to start receiving feedback from our users. All feedback is welcome… let’s all contribute to make this app an amazing one!
