$MENGO Fan Token Offering (FTO®) To Launch On Socios.com On Tuesday October 19th

1,5 million $MENGO Fan Tokens will go on sale at 10:00 AM (BRT), making it the second biggest FTO® in the history of Socios.com. 

RIO DE JANEIRO, OCTOBER 14TH:  Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Flamengo, in partnership with Chiliz, the leading global blockchain providers for the sports and entertainment industry, have announced that the $MENGO Fan Token Offering (FTO®) will take place on the Socios.com fan influence and rewards app at 10:00 AM (BRT) (3PM CET) on Tuesday October 19th.

Fan Tokens are collectible digital assets, minted on the Chiliz blockchain, that provide owners with access to voting rights in polls, VIP rewards, exclusive promotions, AR-enabled features, chat forums, games and competitions on Socios.com.

1,500,000 $MENGO Fan Tokens will go on sale, making it the second biggest FTO® in the history of the Socios.com app, only after Arsenal FC. $MENGO Fan Tokens will be priced at 2 US dollars. The FTO® will be the only chance for fans to purchase Flamengo Fan Tokens at a set price. 

The number of Fan Tokens each user can purchase will be capped to ensure that as many fans as possible can benefit from this opportunity. In the first wave (from 10:00 to 12:00), the cap will be set at 100 $MENGO Fan Tokens per user. In the second wave (from 12:00 onwards), cap will increase to 250. 

The first poll, which will be available on the Socios.com app as soon as the FTO® is over, will give Flamengo fans the chance to pick the motivational message featured in a mural that will be installed in the team’s locker room at the legendary Maracaná Stadium, where Flamengo play their home games. 

$MENGO Fan Token holders will also be able to put their knowledge to the test on the Socios.com app in a Flamengo-related quiz for the chance to win signed jerseys and other official products. 

One Fan Token will be enough to vote on all the polls launched by Flamengo and to take part in all the Flamengo-related features, but the more tokens owned the higher the influence (vote is multiplied by the number of tokens owned) and the more chances to earn rewards.
