Portugal will become the first European national team to launch a Fan Token to improve engagement with their fanbase.
LISBON, JULY 12TH: The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), in partnership with Chiliz, the leading global blockchain providers for the sports and entertainment industry, have announced that the $POR Fan Token Offering (FTO®) will take place on the Socios.com fan engagement and rewards app at 12:00 GMT +1 on Wednesday July 14th.
Fan Tokens are collectible digital assets, minted on the Chiliz blockchain, that provide owners with access to voting rights in polls, VIP rewards, exclusive promotions, AR-enabled features, chat forums, games and competitions on Socios.com.
1, 000, 000 $POR Fan Tokens will go on sale in the FTO® priced at €2. The FTO® will be the last chance for fans to purchase $POR Fan Tokens at a set price.
