- A total of 1 million $STV Fan Tokens have been created, with 50,000 to be made available in the initial sale at €2 each. The initial sale will be open for a maximum of 2 weeks.
- Fan Token benefits include the right to influence club decisions in exclusive polls. $STV holders will be able to take part in the first poll to choose a unique fan-created message to go inside the captain’s armband straight away.

SINT-TRUIDEN, DECEMBER 07TH 2020: Koninklijke Sint-Truidense Voetbalvereniging (STVV) have announced that their $STV Fan Token will go on sale on blockchain-based fan voting and rewards app Socios.com on Wednesday December 09th at 13:00 CET.
$STV Fan Tokens will be priced at €2 each with 50, 000 of the total 1 million supply to be made available in the initial sale.
$STV Fan Tokens will give owners many benefits, including the chance to directly influence club decisions in exclusive polls. Fans will be able to take part in the first poll to choose a unique fan-created message to go inside the captain’s armband for the rest of the season as soon as the Fan Token launches. The club have also promised to create an extra captain’s armband that will be given to an $STV Fan Token holder as a reward.
$STV Fan Token holders will be able to influence multiple club decisions each season on Socios.com and access other benefits and engagement opportunities through the app including the chance to connect with other supporters in Socios Chat. Fans can also look forward to VIP rewards, exclusive club and sponsor related promotions, in-app games and competitions and the chance to be crowned the number one fan in their region/country through an in-app leaderboard.
STVV will become the first Belgian club to launch their own Fan Token. The $STV Fan Token sale will be the first in a series of six Fan Token offerings in six days on Socios.com, with İstanbul Basakeshir, esports organisations Team Alliance and NAVI, BSC Young Boys and Novara Calcio all set to launch their Fan Tokens on the platform.
Additional Socios.com partners include FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, AS Roma, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, Apollon Limassol, CA Independiente, Universidad de Chile, Novara Calcio and esports organisations Team Heretics and OG.
