Socios Rewind: May 2022
May is a special month for sports fans. It’s the ultimate climax across European football and it’s always busy! As league champions were crowned, we were on hand to give fans the Ultimate Experience.
First things first, in house brand news:
We kick off this rewind with the arrival of New Partners joining our fold. We welcomed 25 MLS clubs and their esteemed fans, while Brazilian outfit Bahia also look to get closer to their fans though Socios.com
Sticking to Samba, we launched Socios Brazil Twitter account, adding a more flare to our brand. In Italy, over 100K fans are now using our services as we continue to bring more fans closer to their teams. Grazie a voi!
To help us in our mission to get more fans closer to their team, we launched our first ever TV commercial. With this, we also welcomed Alessandro del Piero to the fold and adding another sensational number 10 to our team gives us plenty of firepower up front.

Our all-new check in feature is live, allowing you to check in to the game wherever you cheer your team from. The Token Hunt feature returned back to the streets while a host of Fan Rewards were added, including:

Incredible Activations
$PSG, $BAR and $DZG Fan Token Holders got to play at their respective stadiums and Live the Dream with Socios.com. They traded passes with Eto’o, scored belters at the Emirates and rocked the Stadion Maksimir. Being treated like a pro for the day is the stuff of dreams and capturing these moments with fans is peak.

We capped off the month with two sentimental occasions as we presented Fan Tokens to the MVP of the Coppa Italia men’s and women’s finals.

Sauber fans had a good month as we launched two new NFT series based on the Miami and Monaco Grand Prixes. Our digital collectibles were snapped up as fans looked to complete the Sauber set by completing the range.
Back to school with Socios.com
Something truly magical is brewing in Turkey. We’re going back to school, but this time to educate the enthusiastic students who wish to learn about Digital Transformation and the Future of the Sports Industry. It’s Turkey’s first blockchain and sports related education program and we are so happy to be involved.
Sticking to Turkey, we also held an F1 watch party together with S Sports+, the official Formula 1 broadcaster. We broadcasted the Monaco GP and also built simulators to give fans the ultimate virtual race experience. We loved it, fans loved it and we can’t wait to meet again.
