İstanbul Başakşehir To Launch Fan Token On


  • The İstanbul Başakşehir ($IBFK) Fan Token will go on sale on blockchain-based fan voting and rewards app before the end of the year.

İSTANBUL November 11st 2020:  İstanbul Başakşehir, in partnership with with Chiliz (Binance: $CHZ, Paribu: $CHZ) have announced that they will launch their $IBFK Fan Token on before the end of the year. The agreement covers both the club’s football team and İstanbul Başakşehir Esports.

The club, which is just six years old, won the Turkish Süper Lig for the first time and also made it to the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League last season. On November 04th they won their first ever Champions League fixture beating Manchester United 2-1.

$IBFK holders will be able to influence club decisions, voting in many polls each season on and earning rewards linked to the club, including innovative digital experiences and real-life activations, such as meeting players and watching games as a VIP when fans return to the stadiums.

Fan Token holders can also look forward to digital and real-life rewards, VIP experiences and a host of club and sponsor related discounts. A Leaderboard feature, allowing fans to compete to become the number 1 fan in their region/country will be launched in the near future as will a Chat feature.

İstanbul Başakşehir ($IBFK) will become the third Turkish club to join the platform, following Galatasaray and Trabzonspor. are also primed to open an İstanbul based office with an initial staff of 20 as they work towards their stated aim of delivering 100M Turkish Lira to the country’s sports industry. 

Additional partners include FC Barcelona,  Atlético de Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, AS Roma, CA Independiente, Apollon Limassol, BSC Young Boys, Sint-Truidense V.V and esports organisations, NAVI, Team Heretics and OG. also has a global fan engagement partnership with UFC, while the Professional Fighters League (PFL) will launch a Fan Token early next year.  Many more clubs, including Turkish teams, are set to join the platform before the end of the year as well leading IPs from sports and entertainment.

Details on the price of $IBFK Fan Tokens, the total supply and the launch date will be revealed in the near future.
