VALENCIA, NOVEMBER 5TH: Valencia CF, in partnership with Chiliz, the leading blockchain provider for the sports and entertainment industry, will become the first Spanish football club to launch ‘in game’ NFTs on the fan engagement and rewards app. 

The launch will take place on Sunday (7/11), when 100 limited edition NFTs will be minted to commemorate a significant Valencia CF moment from their game with LaLiga rivals and fellow partners Atlético de Madrid. The NFTs will be subsequently dropped to $VCF Fan Token holders that own at least 10 $VCF Fan Tokens and are able to predict the outcome of the game on the ‘ Predictor’ feature. 

In the coming weeks, will carry out similar launches with other partner clubs, increasing the opportunities for Fan Token holders to be rewarded through the app and fully integrating NFTs as part of the offering. NFTs minted for partners will be tradable on any Ethereum based NFT marketplace.
